RCA TABLET WILL NOT CHARGE. CAN'T FIND RECEIPT. BOUGHT AT WALMART, AROUND $49.00. NOT EVEN A YEAR OLD. WHAT CAN I DO?

Well. every store has limits on returns, whether it is 7 days or 30 days or 1 year. The store has the right to set their own terms and conditions, in US and Canada there is no statutory right of return on most retail purchases (unless it is not the item that you agreed to purchase). Those policies will be posted in the store, or on their website, or even on your printed receipt. It's up to you to seek that information out. You didn't say how long you have had it, but I am guessing it is past the return policy limit.

If i were you I would take it back to Walmart and see what they say But I am afraid you can not return anything without a receipt.

It should still be under warranty. If you lost the receipt, large stores like Target or Walmart can print another and even help you with warranty info. It might be worth a try.

Chech the charger, charger cable an the connection on the tablet. When there is no dirt or debris in the power connector of the tablet, and the charger / cable domination works fine with another device, the tablet will have a defect. If so, just claim your warranty where you bought it.

I bought my son the 7 inch RCA tablet form Walmart on Black Friday 2014. This tablet has a one year manufacturers warranty so you should still be fine with your 10.1 in tablet if you contact RCA directly.

Try contacting their customer service department. Possible they will make a trade if you still have the receipt.

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer's customer service? You really don't want to try taking the casing apart, unless you're experienced, you might never get it back together. If it was me, if it's just a month old, you should hurry and take it and the packaging and receipt back to walmart. Tell them you either want a new one or your money back. Immediately.
