Nabi big tab hd 20 comes on but won't charge the battery, it has to be plugged in at all times to work can it be fixed?

All ready sent my first big tab in for warranty replacement

It's a battery issue or adapter issue if it is under warranty give it to the service center

First remove the battery and run only on the adapter... If it works fine then there is no problem with adapter...... Charge the battery continuously for 4 hours without seeing the percentage of charging and remove the adapter..... If the laptop runs on battery for 45 mins then it might be the problem with drivers..... Go to device manager and reinstall the drivers if it is less than 45 mins.... Reinstall the drivers either ways...... If still the problem persists.... Go to HP.com and and select software and driver downloads and give the product number.... select the OS... Select HP battery check.... Download the file (sp32299.exe) and click save.... Save file onto the desktop and close the site..... Run the exe file.... If it passes the battery is fine... If fails replace the battery....

The steps might be longer..... But i can assure that it will work

get them to have it checked in their repair shop and tell them its not the battery

Check the voltage at the pins of the adapter. If present accordingg to the specifications then connect to the laptop and remove the battery from behind. Now check the voltage at the battery terminal of the laptop. if there is low or no voltage to the desired level then there are problems within the main board as this insufficient voltage will not charge the battery makeing it go down below level.

did you charge it over night the firs time? as the manual states?
I have no idea what a COMPUTER named NABI JR. is.
I bet it has model number, not just JR. for sure.
what is it,
a desktop gaming PC,

batteries must be charged fully first.

How do I reset the nabi tablet.

Turn off your nabi Big Tab.
Press the Volume - button first, then press the Power button and hold them both until the system menu appears on the upper left corner of the screen.
Use the Volume - button to highlight "Recovery Mode," then press the Power button to select it.

Sounds like you have a good charger/cable, so try resetting the Nabi that's giving you trouble. Hold the power switch down for 10-20 seconds to reset the unit.
I have a couple of NABI-2 tablets and they both react differently to the charging cables; I often have to shut the NABI off completely to charge them. Also, getting the charging cable to connect can be challenging - I will plug the cable in and out several times waiting 10 seconds or so to see if the green LED will go red.

Contact Nabi. I have had several issues with nabi. Most likely the slot where the plug is placed is disconnected inside somehow. You can try placing the charger in the freezer for about an hour. There is a thermal fuse that over heated that will reset it. Nabi sent me a new tablet twice. They have great customer service.

Won t turn on

Have you held the button in for ten seconds? Are you pushing it in correctly? Did you charge it? If the battery goes down it will not come on. Plug in the charger for awhile then try turning it on. If you spilled something on it you might have a problem. So many things we dont know. Try the charger first.

Nabi Tablet will not turn on, how can I fix it?

You should first verify that it is getting power. There have been some issues with the nabi's charger that you can read about here. While plugged in and charging, the red light should be on, and will change to green when it has finished charging.You should then be able to turn it on. You can download the nabi manual here.

If the battery is fully charged, then the next thing to try would be to remove the battery and let it sit for several minutes. However the nabi wasn't designed for a consumer to do this, so you should email [email protected], or call 1-855-275-6224.
