Three month after buying this ******* K850i, the three touch screen
just stop working and i can't get past the menu, cant operate the
phone at all, only to receive calls and connect it to my laptop for browsing
the internet. I have no warranty on it so please any solution at all ? help me
Sir, try reinstalling your phone. This will make the phone to be back to its original settings and maybe can bring the phone's touch screen capability back.
How to fix k850i touch screen touch buttons
You need to get a new flex membrane. The touch sensitive part in your phone is not integrated with the screen, rather part of the buttons. I bought a new one for $1 on ebay, a $3 T5 tool, and took it apart (there is a guide to show you correct disassembly of the K850i). The ribbon on the flex membrane unplugs really easy and is almost as easy to put back in. It took me about 25 minutes and about $8 (shipping was the most expensive) to fix this problem.
