Is Samsung CLASS 4 4K UHD UN70KU630D compatible with Dish Hopper with Sling receiver?

Getting no signal from receiver to tv. Have tried HDMI fast speed cable, component cable, and RCA cables....get blank screen. Can hook to Samsung 55" non-4K UHD and connection works great. Can hook cable to tv with no problem. Can access internet with great graphics. Just cannot hook to Dish Hopper with Sling.

I am trying to hookup a Samsung tv to my dish network where I previously had a Sony hookup and I'm getting a "no cable connected" notice on the tv screen

Hook up your Dish receiver to HDMI 1 port on your TV. Press the input button on your TV remote to change the input to HDMI 1 and you should get a picture on your TV.

Screen seems to stalls/freezes for 5-10 seconds every minute like hitting a pause button. It does not turn off or go black, other TV's on same signal seem fine.

Well first I would change the cable ! Even if the set is not that old u may have a problem with the main signal board , I would bet that the Dish receiver , or Hopper had a problem I had this problem with my plasma , but fine on my led's & lcds Hope this helps .

How do I connect my receiver so that the sound comes from my speakers????

Please read the manual. You should connect speakers to the speaker output of the receiver, or amplifier. You connect the TV with a receiver through a HDMI cable. Depending what would be the source from that you take the output and the place the signal is going to there you should use the input. Don't connect anything without 100% certainty it is correct. You could damage the whole equipment when connected the wrong way around.

I have a Denon avr-3808ci. I have a Dish Network DVR and a Sony KDS-60A2020 tv. If I connect the HDMI cable on the DVR directly to the tv, I get picture and sound through the tv. If I connect the HDMI...

You are correct. I feel your pain. This will not work.

HDMI is a pure digital signal and the providers require the content coming over the Dish DVR to be COPY PROTECTED. So it will not work unless the HDMI cable goes directly from the DVR to the TV. This is to stop people from being able to make their own recordings of Dish shows, or making copies of your DVR recordings. If you really want to run things through your reciver, you're going to have to use the "component" or "composite" video feeds, not the HDMI. Sorry.

No signal in all 4 hdmi ports on th new samsung 6050. Tried running from Sony receiver and then direct format uverse cable box. Still no signal. It is as if there is a compatibility problem. Help!

I would try connecting a dvd player to one of the HDMI input on the tv to be sure the tv is the problem.Try new HDMI cable 1.3 version. ATT uverse boxes are alway a source of problems and I would assume it was bad before I would condem the tv. If the tv is bad and it is under warranty an authorized servicer will replsce the main board.
