Samsung vrt front loading washer loud noises and not spinning

I have a Maytag Neptune front load washer. I had a similar problem, had to replace the bearings for the drum. It sounded like a jet engine spooling up until I replaced the bearings. I watched a video on how to replace them on Youtube.

Load balancer stuck or broken.

The feet of the machine have to to be leveled. When reading the instructions, leveling is important for the very reason you are having difficulties.

You have to make sure the load size is the exact match to what size your load is.

It could be a drum spring has broken or stretched too far, there is too much of a heavy load in the drum, or the bearing needs replacing.

Remove the front panel and you will see two metal guides attached to the front of the frame. One of them will probably be bent and the transmission assembly will have jumped over one or the other of the guides. You need to manually pull it back to center then straighten the bent guide. May have been caused by load being out of balance or machine not properly leveled. Good luck.
