Homelite wants to sell you a new carburetor assembly. Your blower came equipped with a RuiXing brand carb. RuiXing does not offer any repair parts for their carbs, only replacement units.
Now for the good news....a Zama brand primer bulb fits perfectly on the RuiXing carbs. Check with your local small engine repair shop for a Zama primer bulb. The blower requires removal af the carb to get at both of the screws that hold on the bulb. It is not difficult, just one nut holds on the outer airbox cover...don't lose the little washers. Then one long stud and one short screw will take the carb off. Replace the primer bulb and reinstall everything the same way it came off.
Good luck!

There are a few things to look for with this problem. First, open the fuel cap and look inside the gas tank. If the tank is more than half full, dump some out to assist you in seeing inside the tank. Look at the fuel line and filter. Make sure that hose is long enough to reach the bottom of the tank when tilted on its side. Make sure that there is a filter on the end of the hose also. Then follow the hose to the carburetor and the other hose from the carburetor to the primer. If they are all intact and no cracks, then the primer may be bad or there is a leak in the carburetor. It will have to be rebuilt.

Yes, you will need to mix up some fuel with two cycle oil. See your owners manual for the proper mix ratio. Keep this fuel in separate container from your lawn mower gas.

check fuel lines inside fuel tank, see if will run on a shot of starting fluid e85 gas eats them
