We have a Clarion CZ509A car stereo and when we insert a CD is says it is loading but then spits out the CD and doesn't play

You need to reset the system, disconnect the car battery for 10minutes....... reconnect, enter radio code and should be back to normal.

the new stereos are unlocked by an unlock cd.following are the options to obtain an unlock code for the stereo:
1-contact ur car dealer and ask him for the unlock cd. 2-go to some good car stereo shop and ask them to unlock the stereo. 3-if u r a wiz kid, wrie the model of ur stereo in google and search it for an unlock cd and burn it and insert it in the stereo.

I have a Clarion Cz509A stereo which did connect via blue tooth to my I phone 3 for over 12 months. However after a car battery was changed they no longer pair together. I have reset the phone, turned it on and off. Checked the pass key is correct with the stereo. Checked hot wire is connected as it keeps time and radio settings when battery is disconnected for over an hour. Tried the head set reset button, but still no detection. What ya reckon

Sounds like you have speakers that are wired incorrectly. Most car stereos require a 4-ohm load, if you wire two standard speakers in parallel it will create a 2-ohm load and cause this condition.

Not all in-car stereo are compatible with computer recorded CD.

Try setting Roxio to "Close Disk" and "Close Session" or "Disk at Once" (try all) while recording the CD on PC.

If that does not work, then the stereo is not compatible with recorded CDs.

put a cd cleaner in to clean the heads so it can read the cd

well over time the cd reader in side the unit goes and that what is happen to your unit best solution replace the init

the car stereo does not play cd's that is not a technical problem that someone can talk to be about, and I am not paying to find that out, so i went to someone who could fix it

The Clarion manual lists 3 error messages.
Error 2-A disk is caught inside the CD deck and is not ejected.
Error 3-A disk cannot be played due to scratches, etc.
Error 6-A disc is loaded upside-down and cannot be played.
