Janome 10000 - I get a warning message and the machine quits. I've had it to a repair person 4 times

Warning messages: Is something stuck? Is the needle bent? Is the cloth too thick? Will not start again for about 30 minutes.

If you've had it in for repair four times, then the technician is not doing a good job. Take it back and insist it be fixed... talk to the manager and relay your dissatisfaction with the service. OR ask for a refund and take it to a reliable Janome technician.

You don't mention the error message, so it is very difficult to try to assist.

Model mc9000. Needle moves manually. Why not automatically when machine started?

Do you mean that the needle goes up and down when you turn the hand wheel but not when you step on the pedal? In that case, your machine needs a new motor belt. I've seen some of these listed at E-bay. The service manual is available from ManualsLib, https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1075981/Janome-Memory-Craft-9000.html#manual . Warning: since this is a computerized sewing machine, you should have the service done by a sewing machine repair person. There are parts of the machine that may still be energized and touching the wrong spot could damage the machine. If you are skilled with this type of work, you can ignore the warning.

so..it only happens in your house? anything odd about the power coming to your machine? have you tried it on another outlet? that might explain why the dealer can't see the problem...

My janome me 10000 keeps giving me a warning message that says is fabric to thick is needle bent is something stuck in machine. I just had a new circuit board put in. Why is this doing this

That is the wierdest error message I've ever seen on a sewing machine. Did you try a brand new needle? Are you sewing thick fabric (does the message appear when sewing light-weight fabric? Remove the bobbin case from the machine and check for thread wrapped somewhere. If you are not able to find an answer on your own, then it's probably best to take it for service.

I would replace the needle anyway. It's hard to tell if one is bent or not.

Remove your feed dog/needle plate and the bobbin cover. Take out your bobbin and bobbin carrier.

Get out a magnifying glass and really examine. Look for thread ends in between moving parts.

Also check the thread pathways. Especially where the take up lever is hidden. I've heard of some ladies finding threads snarled up in that area which caused problems like this.

Good luck. If all else fails take it in for repair.

MC 10000 Digitizer 10000 Error Message

Try downloading the updates for your software from Janome Global, downloads, software. Version 1 needs patches to make it compatible with XP. The most current Version for the 10000 software is 2.21, and the upgraded program is Digitiser pro/MB , a much more stable and far easier version to work with. The upgrade has to be purchased via a dealer or direct from Janome.
