If you've had it in for repair four times, then the technician is not doing a good job. Take it back and insist it be fixed... talk to the manager and relay your dissatisfaction with the service. OR ask for a refund and take it to a reliable Janome technician.
You don't mention the error message, so it is very difficult to try to assist.
