Most likely the dealership were you purchased the vehicle from will perform the services for you . remember that your r8 need an oil service every 10k miles. if youve changed the oil less than 10k miles ago. and light comes on notify dealer .they will reset the code to remove the light from car. and also you will need 1 quart every 5k miles. SYNTHETIC ONLY! i use amsoil in my lamborghini and r8

I believe that this vehicle doesn't have a dip stick and should be serviced by the dealer only.

What is the correct transmission oil level?

you measure the trans level by pulling the trans dipstick with the car warmed up (after a short drive), on level ground, engine running-it should read within the 'hash marks' on the dipstick to be considered correct

On a 2003 gmc not 4x4 6cyl. how many quarts of oil does it need and do i have to use the specific 5 30w

you should always use the recommended oil. the viscosity of the oil is critical to bearing lubrication. as for quantity, after draining oil and replacing the filter, fill the crankcase with 4 quarts. this will be enough to provide protection. run the engine for a minute or two. shut the engine off and allow 2-3 minutes for the oil to drain back into the crankcase. check the oil level. if the oil is visable on the dipstick to the bottom of the hash marks, add 1 more quart and that should bring you up to the full mark. the area of the hash marks represent 1 quart. if the oil is at the half way point between the hash marks, add 1/2 quart. the dipstick might also have sight holes where you read the level. in any case, the marked area measures 1 quart. if the oil falls within those marks, add the proper amount accordingly.

There are no markings on the dipstick to know where the acceptable level for the oil is on the 1996 Millinea. How do I know if I have enough oil?

Drain the crankcase oil into a clean container in which you are able to measure the amount. Replenish this amount up to the quantity stated in your hand book. Remove dipstick and fill the crancase with just this oil. Dip the oil level and using a scriber or a file, mark the dipstick at the level of the oil.
Notes:
1. The quanity of oil is the engine capaity less the oil filter.
2. You may wish to use clean new oil and fit a new filter. If so, use the fill capacity including the oil filter, or add about another pint.

Power steering light has come on,on dash and steering not working, audi a3 fsi 2003 ,1st time it happened just turning ignition on and off solved the problem, now light stays on and power steering not...

Have you verified that the power steering fluid is at the right level? If it isn't, you need to fill it to the proper level using specific Audi power steering fluid (it's a mineral-oil-like fluid, NOT the stuff you buy at the parts store). If you've run the reservoir dry and kept driving, it's likely you've burned out the pump and will have to replace it.

When I turn the key on there are there warning beeps on my 1988 audi and the oil light comes on whats going.

If the oil's full the problem is in the sensor and a mechanic can repair the problem. If the oil level is low, change or fill the oil and the light should go off. If you've never done an oil change yourself you may want to have assistance as it can be tricky. When you check the oil and the level is at the "add" line you will add one (1) quart of oil only. If it's not registering on the dipstick you'll need to add two (2) quarts, check the level after several minutes and add accordingly. JiffyLube does good work and will save you the headache of labor. Good luck to you

Today my EPC light came on during driving, the engine "lowered" in rpm, I realeased the gas and the light came off. What is the problem? I noticed that I have about 0,4 liter to much oil in, could this be...

It is a problem with engine oil level. This can affect EPC light. NEVER you must fill up engine oil above the "max" mark of the oil dipstick !!! If oil level is above "max" there is risk of damage to Three Way Catalitic Converter !!! You must bring oil level at "max" mark of dipstick, but under no condition above !!!
