No quick fix for this. You have something blown on the circuit board, most likely the input to the main.

The reason mine crackled seems to be because it was on very high volume (on the speaker) but my computer was on low volume. Hope this helps,

What I did to connect to BOSE wireless speaker to my MacBook air was go in advance settings and uncheck all three options there and then press the wireless button until it beeped--> then I was able to pair it to my laptop. Success!
