The ballast inside the fixture is rated to operate 2 25w bulbs. You can't put higher wattage bulbs in this fixture, unless you change the ballast. Sorry.
Look for a plastic aftermarket company in the phone book. They will cut you one to fit you fixture. Ask for a price first, it should not be that expensive.
so where are you installing them, outside of home?
black wire to power white to neutral and green to ground, most will install with the hardware that comes with them
