The most likely solution is to replace any Capacitors that have blown in the onboard power circuit. Look for a Capacitor that has got a very bulging top in the region of the power connector.
Possible that the fall has damaged the mother board and so there can be CRACK ON THE MOTHER BOARD. So you need to remove power cord and check using a good inspection lamp on the board for broken circuit board. Use a good soldering iron with wire strips to join - take care not to short circuits as each line must be tested for short and continuity.
ctmarrero was correct! There are two fuses on the mother board, and the larger one was blown. I took off the mother board (easy) and soldered off the old fuse and replaced it with a new fuse holder that will allow me to replace it next time without soldering. The fuse is a 250V 15A. This cost me less than $5. The new "PCB Assembly Main" EAP3533829" board cost $181.82 on easyappliance parts.com. Bad design by LG, should have had a fuse holder so it can be replaced easily.....
Have you try troubleshoot with working monitor, display card or your matherboard and processor,
Usually no display problem occur becouse of one hardware between monitor, ram, motherboard, displaycard and can be your processor problems.
You can try troubleshooting one by one of your computer hardware to get problem occur
A Lasonic 931 ? It has probably been taken apart by someone before you and may have unplugged the power feed from the battery compartment. Remove the rear panel then check the two wires that come from the battery box are connected to the circuit board. If not, then check to see where they go on the board, it`s not hard to do.Look for the little tabs they slide onto..
Before assuming the worse, let us assume it is a damaged DC jack. This can be replaced by expert personnel and it costs less than a motherboard replacement.
you need the correct board for your model Samsung has alot of replacement boards that are all simillar but you need the exact one for your model number TV
