Font size on email is too big, how to get it smaller

If you mean that when you write emails the font size is too big, you need to do the following in your email programme (I'm quoting Outlook):
Go to Tools, Options, Mail Format This will open a multi choice window.
Click on Fonts (under Mail Format)
This gives you the opportunity to change the font, the size etc.
Under 'When composing a new message' click on Choose Font. Change the size to something smaller 10 or 12pt are best.
Don't forget to click on OK at the bottom of the window.
Hope this helps.

My font always goes back to 10 after I have changed it for a document. I want it to stay where I put it.

If you are using Microsoft Word 2007 or 2010 follow this steps:

1. Click a tiny arrow at the font frame. The font frame is a box that contains the font name, font size, etc. At the right-down of the frame, you will find an arrow symbol.

2. When the font window opens, select the font size and other settings as required.

3. Click " Set as Default" button.

I hope this will assist you.

Font sizing

Where do you want to change the font size on the overall computer or in a word document?

In a word document you will see a number at the top of the window that represents the font size that you can change. If you have problems within word there is a Help option where you can simply type: Font Size and it will bring up instructions to change.

To change font size on everything in the computer:
Find an open space on the windows desktop and Right Click then select Properties. When the Display Properties window opens click the Appearance Tab then look down towards the bottom left you will see where you can change the font size from Normal to Large or Extra Large. Change the size then Click Apply then click OK.

You can also get the Display Properties by clicking Start/Control Panel and look for Display or Appearance and Personalization. Once the display opens click the Appearance tab to change the font size.
