No click, Vizio does NOT change from amber/orange to white. Googling this suggested Power Supply. I replaced it and still have the same problem. Could you point me in the right direction on which part I should test/replace? I can't tell you if it popped or anything when it went out, because no one was in the room at the time. I'm thinking it's the main board. This model is noted for the bad caps problem. "This was fixed by replacing the Main Board."
The problem I had with my Vizio was 3 LED light strips went bad and I found a website shopjimmy.com had parts available, so I ordered a set of LED strips in 2015 or 2016 and this 10 yr old tv had been working great since replacing them. SJ has other circuit boards available at cheap prices, and I think that may be your problem. Worth trying.

If the TV goes in standby, then it is in protection mode.
Ensure also that the fault is not coming from a faulty receiver box sending
bad signal, check if you get same problem on DVD with no receiver box
connected.
Try first leaving the TV power cord unplugged for some times, let say one hour or so.
The flashing light indicates a diagnostic state called protection.
When the TV goes on protection there are only two possible causes.
1The
internal circuits are jammed because of electrostatic
charges accumulating on capacitors, or because of a wrong voltage read
by the main chip on your monitor controller board. this started the
protection circuit.
2 The protection circuit detected a wrong
voltage or abroken contact, identified an internal fault and kicked in
, starting the flashing light.
If you are in situation one, then the TV will reset just unplugging power cord for one or two hours, sometimes even minutes.
If you are in situation 2 , then there is an internal fault.
If under warranty contact the manufacturer ringing the number on the user manual

particular attention at inverter and power board, power board can be
inspected looking for bulged or leaking capacitors, then tested with a
multimeter. The inverter is more difficult to test , there is need to
read voltages, should be done by a tech. Also the LCD controller board can cause same problem

Logic Control D Board got nothing to do with this problem. This is your main power supply gone bad(usually not the sub power supply). I just repaired my VIZIO by replacing main power supply. Just remove back cover and your board will be right in the middle of the screen. Just get board part/serial # and google it. My best price was through eBay(around $100). Everything is fine now.

I've seen that problem before and for this person it turned out to be a bad ground on the outlet they were using. I've also seen waiting for it to turn it self on after its on off fit sometimes works.
