Sounds like not getting power to motor on dial to turn it, might be bad wire going to timer.

Washing machine wont work

If it's more than 6 years old, it's time for a new one. Or maybe you blew out your fuses. Try resetting the fuse box and switch off and on. Then after you switch back the power, go and try to turn on washing machine again.

My tork 1101 timer will not trip on. It trips off ok. Manual override works fine, trip pins fine. When I manually rotate the dial it trips off fine, i hear and feel it click when the on pin pass, but the...

as per geno, Tork T1101 has 120 Volt clock motor and is generally used for 120Volt loads but can be wired other ways to handle 240Volt circuits.

Here are basic wiring instructions for 120Volt.
1) Black Hot wire from breaker connects to both terminal 1 and terminal L.
There is usually a brass connector plate between these two terminals. If that plate is present, then connect Hot wire to one terminal or the other.
2) White Neutral wire from breaker box connects to terminal X.
3) Black wire going to Load (light, fan, motor) connects to terminal 2
4) White neutral wire going to Load connects to terminal X along with other neutral wire.

That's the wiring.
To operate timer:
1) Set current time: rotate dial clockwise until current time lines up with the word TIME that is located to lower right of dial at about 5 o'clock position.
2) Put on-off trippers on outer edge of dial at times you want timer to turn on and off.
The trippers are marked ON and OFF.

3) The ON tripper rotates around on the dial until it encounters a lever, and then it pushes the lever.
The lever clicks one direction for ON tripper, and then OFF tripper pushes lever other direction.
The lever opens and closes electrical contacts which turns the Load on-and-off.

I having troble with my t103 timer to turn the lights on manualy i try to set the timer but for some reason doesn't work what can i do ???

T103 Intermatic timer has 120Volt clock motor and can control 120V or 240V Loads.
Wiring for timer is shown on following link:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-T104-Intermatic-timer.html#T103

Troubleshoot T103:
1) Manual override is working correctly, and it snaps crisp and clean, and Load turns on-and-off.
That means timer is basically good.

2) Next look to see if yellow dial is rotating.
If dial is not rotating, then 120Volt clock motor needs to be replaced.
Take photo of wiring and mark wires before starting.
Remove two white wires connected to screw terminals 1 and A.
Snap timer mechanism out of box, clock motor is on back of timer.
Use small star screwdriver to remove old clock motor.
Reattach white wires on terminals 1 and A, tighten screws very tight.
Reset current time: lift and rotate dial until current time lines up with silver pointer.
Grainger sells 125V clock motor:
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/INTERMATIC-Time-Clock-Motor-1PNK1?Pid=search

3) If dial is rotating, but gets stuck at certain times, or runs slow, then replace clock motor.

4) If dial is rotating, and trippers are attached to dial, but timer does not turn ON, then trippers are worn down and need to be replaced.
Grainger sells the T103 trippers
http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/INTERMATIC-Timer-Tripper-2E054?Pid=search

5) How Intermatic mechanical timers work:
Dial with ON-OFF trippers is rotated by clock motor.
Trippers on dial contact ON-OFF lever.
ON tripper pushes lever one direction.
OFF tripper pushes lever opposite direction.
Lever moves electrical contacts on back of timer that turn Load ON-OFF.
Manual override lever clicks back and forth with each ON-OFF action.

TIMER DOES NOT WORK YET, THE GEARS DO TURN

If I understand correctly, you have Intermatic dial-type timer.
The dial or clock is turning but the timer does not turn ON and OFF.

Here's what to do.
1) Click the manual override to see if Load (lights, fan, motor) comes on.
The manual override is your best diagnostic tool.
If the manual override does not click back and forth very well, then timer is probably bad.
You can buy a new Intermatic and snap the new timer into old box without changing boxes.

2) If the manual override does not turn on the Load, then the electricity to Load is suspect.
a) There could be loose wire inside box or loose wire at Load
b) The breaker to Load could be tripped if the Load operates on different breaker than timer. For example some timers run on a 120V breaker, but the Load is a 240V pool pump.
c) Load is not working. For example the light is burned out.

2) If the manual override works fine and Load goes on-and-off, then you can have 4 possible problems.
a) The tripper pins are not placed on the timer dial
b) Tripper pins are worn down and you need new trippers
c) If this is a new installation, then wiring can be reversed, so check wiring

If you need Intermatic tripper pins:

If you have a T-100 series timer, then the following page shows wiring for those timers

Please write back after you narrow down the suspects.
We'll get your timer running.

Worked fine until I tried to change the on/off time of the lights. Now the timer does not move around. I have unplugged it and plugged it back in but still does not work. How do I fix it? ML300RTW

Check to see if you are getting power at the outlet. Sometimes GFCI receptacles will trip with very little provocation. Also, remove the trips and re-install them, as you may have inadvertently jammed one between the dial and the case, causing the dial not to turn Needle nose pliers make it an easy job to remove and replace the pins. You should be able to turn the dial easily.
Also, if you tried to install a trip in a slot close to the current time, it's possible it may have jammed the mechanism.

Does yours have the timer/clock thing that stands at the rear left of the stove? If so, make sure the far right dial is set at Manual. I had a repair person come out once (luckily it was someone I knew who didn't charge me) because my oven quit working. He turned the dial to manual and presto! :)
