From the information you have supplied, I suspect that the machine is not draining the water away,
1] Check that the drain pump is working (it would be easier to hear it running, before the machine starts the spin cycle, or if your machine has a "drain down" feature)
2] If the pump is running, stop the machine and unplug it from the mains power. Remove the machine drain tube from the point where it is plumbed into the household waste pipe, and lay it down into a bucket, or large pan and allow the water to drain down [ you should expect to get up to 2 gallons (10 Litres) of water from the machine]
Allow the water to drain down completely by holding the drain hose as low as possible into the bucket.
3] once the water has drained completely, remove the drain hose from the pump and check that the drain hose is not blocked.
4] If the hose was clear, and the pump was running (in tests [1] & [2] ), it will be necessary to check that the drain pump, and the main hose from the tub to the pump are clear of obstructions.
Remove any foreign objects, and re-assemble the hoses to the pump to the machine, and the drain hose to the domestic plumbing.

Plug the machine into the mains power, and and set the machine to run on the "last rinse" and "spin" cycles and test to see if the problem has been rectified.

I hope this helps cure your problem.

Clothes as still wet when it is finish after washing is done

Hello Sassylips,

Clothes will always be wet after a wash but if you are saying that they are soaking wet rather than just damp from a frontloadre like yours then you may have an obstruction in the pump system.. That could be anything from a screen preceding the pump, some obstruction in the pump itself, a pinched or clogged drain line exitting the washer or restrictive flow in your home drain system. A simple check that can be done would be to take the drain line out of the house drain and put it in a barrel. Watch the flow of water when the washer cycles thru a standard wash and see if it appears to be a reasonable level. A trickle would indicate one of the problems I mentioned previously. Have you ever cleaned the drain screen? Those are a few potential issues that could cause your clothes to remain wetter than they should be after a wash cycle. Also, you might try washing a few articles of clothing and then check to see if they are as wet as larger loads when the cycle is complete... Hope these ideas help you identify the cause and are able to resolve your problem...

Maytag washer

check to make sure the door is locking when it should. If the door isn't locking or sensing that its locked the washer will not go into high speed spin.

After the wash cycle is complete the clothes are still wet.

Open the machine and remove the drain pump. Clean out any debris and try again.
Remove the front panel.
The pump should be directly in front of you. Open it and clean it.
This procedure will have to be done occasionally.

Goes through washing cycle but doesn't dissolve the tablets or cleans the clothes.

Clean out your outlet filter; this is to be done regularly once a month, depending on your usage. Re your tablets not disolving, try using front loading washing powder. Also refer to your manual..........
