There should be a thermal breaker. When using the autoclean it may popup off. Usually you remove the current and the rear panel to reset it.

I have a Moffat G32D5 double oven and feel there was a power surge do I need to replace the transformer?

I reckon your oven is a MoffAt, rather than a MoffEt, so I edited it. Fixed the typos as well.

The 'let's try replacing this' form or repair seldom works. You can't work on "I feel like there was a power surge". There either was or there wasn't. Phone your utility company and ask them. They have to tell you. Then you get out your digital multimeter and you check the transformer for both Input voltage and output voltage. Or, you just phone an appliance repairer.

Moffat oven doesn't heat .The elements don't turn red

Check the oven fuse. If that's OK, unplug it from the power supply. Remove the screws holding the element to the oven and pull it carefully back away from the oven wall. Connect your VOM test leads to the 2 terminals (meter set to at least 250Vac). Make sure the leads are not touching any metal parts of the oven and they are not touching the element. Plug oven in and turn the oven on. Do not touch the oven during testing. Reading 220 - 250 Vac power is OK. Element is bad. Reading lower then 220 or none at all no power getting to element, need more testing to find the problem. Be careful, and use common sense when working with and around electricity.

Oven won't turn on because someone played with timer

Try turning the mains supply off and it will probably reset everything.

Moffat 3000 oven

Can you please provide a Model number. Moffat has a huge appliance line. I do realize this can also either be a gas or electric oven. Possibly E32MS/2 or G32MS/A25 as a model number. Thanks
