Grandaughter uses our kindle fire but we keep deleting youtube and she keeps getting back. there there a way to completely delete youtube from the kindle fire
To do it permanently you need to call amazon kindle support Kindle Technical Support Registration 877 690 9305
Have you set up Free Time app that she can use? I recommend you check this link that give some general help topics. First I'd say take a look at set up Parental Controls, Then how to set up Free Time App. You can block her downloading You Tube and keep her out of other areas she shouldn't be in. You may need to set up a new password so she can't get access to the main menu. Then you unlock it when you hand it over.

SOURCE: How do I fix a Kindle Fire whose battery runs low too often.
Make sure your wifi and bluetooth is turned off when not in use because these running in the backround will drain the battery much faster. Turn your unit off when not in use instead of leaving in sleep mode. Make sure your charger is made for the kindle because not all chargers are charging the battery correctly. If you already do these things then it probably is your battery.
Go to directfix.com and at the top of the page click on "repair directions". Scroll down to the fourth item "Android". Click on the "select repair video" and choose the 12th item down "kindle fire teardown". This should help you with replacing the battery. You can google where to purchase the battery with the proper tool needed to open your unit. Hope this helps.
