Could need a new spring in the magazine tube.
Ebay has complete inner magazine tubes.

pull out on the bolt to release and push in to hold back. hopes this helps.

Marlin model 60s sell for $160 or so currently. Less than $100 in the 70s/80s. Perfect condition, used should bring from $80 to $120 depending on model.

Unfortunately, Ramline stopped making the model 70 mag due to the Clinton Gun Ban of 1994.

They're out there, but you have to look for them.
Either used, or NOS (New Old Stock)

Remove the magazine tube and make sure the gun is empty. Open the bolt,take the safety off and squeese the trigger. Continue to hold the trigger back and gently pull the bolt back out of the breech. I beleive that is all there is to it. Good luck with your Marlin.
