Magazine stacked in the gun how I remove?

Stuck? What sort of gun? Make and model? Some guns won't drop the mag without the safety being put on....others will only drop the mag with the bolt back. Try both, just be sure to keep your finger off the trigger!

Charles Daly 9mm hand gun. How do I adjust the sights?

Are you sure, the reviews seem good on it?

How do you sight a handgun?

The same way you sight in any other firearm. You set up a bench rest, line up the sights with a paper target, fire three rounds, then adjust the sights as needed (assuming, of course, that it has adjustable sights - many pistols don't). Then you repeat as necessary until you achieve zero.

I found this and part of the review is interesting.

The one irritating thing is the magazine disconnect safety. While I think it is a great idea it is not well executed with the stock magazine. (it only included one) The stock magazine has a matte finish and doesn't drop down at all when the mag release button is pressed. So if my wife is getting wrestled down and hits the mag release thinking it will disable the gun, it may not even work. With the Mec-Gar magazines they drop down a little, but not always enough to engage the mag disconnect safety. That means the only time this safety could come in handy would be when some person thinks the gun is unloaded because the mag is out. I'm thinking about installing an aftermarket wide-faced trigger that defeats this mag disconnect safety. That should help the trigger pull. But I did notice that my point of impact is much different when I pull the trigger with the pad of my finger instead of the power crease. I'd have to buy a drift punch just to re-adjust the sights.

How do i remove the bolt in a marlin 783 .22 magnum?

Remove the magazine tube and make sure the gun is empty. Open the bolt, take the safety off and squeese the trigger. Continue to hold the trigger back and gently pull the bolt back out of the breech. I beleive that is all there is to it. Good luck with your Marlin.

I have a bostitch SB 16 finish nailer that has a rack of nails stuck in th loading barrel. I need to take the barrel apart to get them out, How do I do this?

The solution provided is harder then it needs to be. Where the nail gun handle attachs to the nail magazine there are 2 bolts. Remove these bolts and the nail magazine slides right out and you can get to the jammed nail. It still took some effort on my part to get the nail out but this was a lot easier then removing the 4 bolts previously suggested.

Reassembling the Hitachi NR 83A2 (S) magazine

The reason that you are having trouble re-assembling the ribbon spring is that you need three hands to complete the job. As you recall the nail pusher just slips into the front of the rails. The pusher has the spring and a pin to retain the spool in place. Install the spring with the bolt hole towards leaver and slip into the front of rails. Take a small paper clip and bend a small hook to catch the ribbon spring. Hook the springs bolt hole with the paper clip and hold the spring in the approximate position for bolt as you push the assembly into rails and use latch to hold. While holding spring with paperclip, insert bolt thru rails and spring into nosepiece. Just break off the paperclip at this point and you are almost done. Some nailers have a metal support clip that you would need to have in place on bolt before installing bolt thru spring. For a breakdown of the gun go to www.toolpartsdirect.com. The other bolt for rails has a support/guide for the safety foot. Good luck and email if you have questions.

I receive error msg and cant eject magazine

The magazine in our Sony CD player would not eject. I tried pressing two buttons at the same time etc., with no result. I uplugged the player, removed the screws that hold the black metal cover on and took off the cover (pull the metal up, out and away at the back bottom sides, then slide it back to release the lip from under the front pane.) Looked down inside and saw the problem, a CD disc extended about 1/2 inch from the magazine, blocking ejection. I pushed the extended edge of the disc back into the magazine with the tip of a kitchen knife. Plugged the player back in, pushed power and then the eject button, and the magazine ejected. Replaced the metal cover and it works fine. If it won't eject again I know what to do. Be sure to unplug before you work, you don't need an electrical shock.
All the best, Sonia Murray
