They wont send some notifications on the number that you used. They will just send some codes for creating the account.

There is a keep me signed in (aka remember me) option when you login. Check it. It will still ask every couple of weeks. This is their policy and no way around it.
Yahoo also uses security seal (image, color, or text) you can choose to identify you. Use it. Passwords are hacked all the time. Mine was, doh!
