I plugged in in the cable that works for the ears phones from the TV to my Lifestyle system and it fixed everything for me. Good luck hope this helps you.
Check to see if it will decrease on the TV itself,install fresh batteries, mash the down button on the remote applying a little pressure, button may be stuck. hope this helps..
