10L02 Wittnauer watch~need band screws that connect link to link

Hi! I have the 10L02 Wittnauer ladies watch (back of watch case hasnumber c860457) and I need some single-screw watch bracelet band screwsthat connect link to link that fit this band. I had two screws comesloose and the screws were lost. (Thank God the watch was not!) I amretired and on a tight budget and just need the link pins to reattachthese links and put the band back together. Does anyone know where Ican get these screws?

If you can get to a watchmaker or even one of those watck "kiosks" where they mostly replace batteries or even a jeweller they may have what you need.

My wittnauer says man of the year 1967 mans watch.. i cant remove the back its wont unscrew on pri off

Wittnauer
finding a watch maker today is like finding , buggy whip maker.
but watch backs have many ways to come off.
for sure round types are the most variant.
pry off
screws off. no notches, takes huge suction cup tool.
screws off and has outer rim square notches that fit a tool that is special spanner wrench.
some are pressed on with huge forces.
last is front loader, with tool that compresses rim of front crystal and then bit by bit dismantled.
fixya is not watch forum and for sure not a computer. in 1967.

google watch maker forums we are not.

My watch broke and the main link piece that connects the band to the watch is missing how do i replace that piece to my watch my arm feels bare without my watch.

Hello collay1,

I understand what you mean.. You can just go to any watch repair center and they should have a spare part of what you need. Many people have had that kind of problem.

Goodluck!

How to remove links at home with a device like this http://www.amazon.com/Tech-Swiss-12-01-Watchband-Remover/dp/B000HDJT6Q/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1309567029&sr=8-6 This is the first time I was...

Just from what I can tell by looking at the watch, it doesn't appear to have pin-style links. Most fancy ladies' watches do not use pin-style links, they use screws. It's pretty easy to distinguish the difference by looking at one end of the pin in the hole. Screws have a slot for a flat head screw and you can see that they are solid like a regular screw. The other end of the pin will look flat. A split-pin is comprised of a piece of metal folded in two, On one end is a very thin ****, but it's very easy to tell it's not a screw and the other end is rounded where the metal is folded in two. If it is, as I suspect, a screw-type pin, you will need a set of precision screwdrivers. They are very inexpensive and you can get them at any department or hardware store. Here's an article that explains everything you need to know about the different styles of common watch link pins and how to change them.

The winding stem is broken can this be repaired?

It is possible to repair this but it probably needs to go back to the maker.

To locate your nearest service center go to http://www.bulova.com/brands/wittnauer/wittnauer.aspx?brand=wittnauer and click on "service center" at the head of the page.

Watch band won't open

It is impossible to say what is wrong without handling the watch. I suggest that you take it to your nearest watch shop and ask them to look it for you.

If they can't do anything for you then the watch may have to be returned to the maker.

To find a local dealer go to the Boluva web site "boluva .com".
