Well, I don't know about the individual shelves, but for the long glass shelf above the crisper drawers, there are two white clips located at the back edges of the glass that need to be pried out with a knife blade, or something similar. Place your blade in between one of the grooves of where the clip meets the plastic frame (and, NOT between the clip and glass! ) and pry the clip with a bit of a sideways motion. It's a little stubborn, but if you break a clip, don't worry, you really don't need it for the shelf to function.
Anyway, after you pry up the two corner clips, lift and slide the glass toward the back to get it out of the front groove, and voila!, the glass comes right out.
In addition to water under the crisper drawers, you might be getting water in the drawers too, look for any ice/frost in any of the air vent holes just above the drawers on the rear fan cover. This unit was made by Samsung for GE, these are notorious for this issue as the defrost drain tube wick heater is not long enough to work. You will need to turn the unit off for 24 hours, unplugged, doors open to ensure it's completely thawed both behind the cover and drain tube. Part# WR13X10573 (cover assembly complete) gets replaced, and part# 819043 will need to take the place of the existing Samsung one. Pleazer Appliance...
No, but you will have to replace that entire glass shelf, as it is not sold in pieces. there is a rubber seal on the back of it that slides out. That may not come with it and you may have to transfer it over. Good Luck!
The shelf frame is cracked . It can be purchased if the part is still available from LG . I wouldn't hold out hope though because LG is notorious for discontinuing parts after 3 years. Find a parts supplier who has contact with LG parts to see if it's still available . I was able to order one for my customer back in the spring.
