I am unable to get any power

Sounds like the motherboard may have failed. Small form factor computer have always been an issue.

It's either the adapter connection or the MOBO itself.
Anyhow try removing the battery and adapter press and hold the power button for 10 to 20 sec plug the adapter with out the battery and restart. Hope this works if not check the MOBO for jack problem
if battery is already charged try with battery alone. Also be sure adapter is compatible the right voltage IE 19.00, 18.00

This is only the first of many things you may need to do to determine the fault. But it is a process for determining the exact cause.

Make sure the ac adapter is correctly plugged into the notebook and into the power cord.

If everything is plugged in correctly and it still will not power on, follow these steps to complete a 'power reset' of the notebook.

1. Unplug the ac adapter. Keep ac adapter unplugged.
2. Remove the battery and keep the battery unplugged.
3. Hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds. (Nothing will appear on the display and none of the lights will light up.)
4. Release the power button and plug in the ac adapter ONLY. (Please note that a power indicator light should be lit on the ac adapter when it is plugged in).
5. Normally power on the notebook.
6. If the unit does not power on, remove the ac adapter and insert the battery into the system.
7. Plug the ac adapter back into the system, the battery charging indicator light will light up.
   If the battery charging indicator light does not light up, the ac adapter may not be providing proper power to the unit, and may need to be replaced.

Remove the battery and ac adapter. Press power button for 10 seconds then connect the ac adapter. Turn on the system. If this didn't work. You need to go to a service center to test your motherboard.

When you say "I bought a new power supply", do you mean you bought a new ac adapter?

Try this method and write back to me with the results:

1) Unplug the notebook and REMOVE the battery pack

2) Hold down the power button for 15 seconds

3) PLUG IN the ac adapter to the wall outlet (DO NOT PUT BACK IN THE BATTERY)

After you plugged in you pc, try powering on the unit again.

If it does not power on, please write me back.

Please take out the battery, and use the AC adapter to boot up only, then put the battery on.

Hi...there,
The AC Adapter supposed to lite GREEN not red... Try a different AC Adapter if you got one..
If it still the same problem after changed another AC Adapter... Then it's your backlight inverter are busted. Need to replaced a new one or returned...

plz try by resiting the ram, if the problem persist then you have problem in display adapter,send it to the vendor from whom you have bought

your laptop should function even without a battery. Remove the battery you just bought and see if only with AC adapter, would your laptop turn on?

If not, then try removing the memory and see using a pencil eraser, clean the contacts of the memory and see if you can power your laptop with only ac
