Fuse costs about fifty cents , board costs over two hundred , but I would say smoke damage is leaning more like the board me ! Id have a small appliance tech look at it , if there is other parts ruined I missed id rather pay him his diag fee than waste money on a two hundred board that's not going to fix it ! It would go towards a new one

Motherboard smoke when switch on CPU damage power connector on board

I would replace the whole power supply. You don't want to give it a chance to short out the board. If this is a just a run of the mill business machine the power supply should only be around 50.00 or less depending on where you find it.

I have a cobra CB. I went to hook it up today, and the fuse popped. I went to unhook it and noticed that the radio was smoking. I took the cover off to take a look and see if everything was OK. There is...

Most CB radio have a diode near the B+ leads going in the circuit board, by your description when you hooked it up you probably got the + and - mixed up and put them in reverse by mistake, when this happens it will short out the diode and sometimes destroy the audio output ic and open a trace on the circuit board before it blows the fuse as it smokes. The diode must be replaced and burnt spot repaired on the circuit board, if you are very lucky the audio ic will come out unharmed.

I got logitech speakers X-230 M/N: S-0123A that need ac110-120v- 60 Hz from USA and by mistake plugged it into ac 220 v that is standard in new delhi. there was a spark and smoke from the woofer unit, and...

You have damaged the power supply unit and this would have caused some failures on the power supply and sometimes on the drivers.
So first of all please check the power supply unit, alternatively the DC power required can be supplied by incorporating a new power supply with the same rating but working on 220volt.
repairing the 110 volt supply is no good as you will need again a step down to work , so I suggest this change.

Subwoofer blows internal 1.25A fuse when plugged in.

Any fuse blowing is caused by an overload in either the power section or the amp part. Look arond for burnt or damaged parts first. It could be caused by a shorted transistor, but your best bet is to follow the circuit from the fuse on the PC board.

I have a equator EZ 3612 I plug in ac 110v and happen nothing only i can hear a sound maybe in the electric card or in the big capacitor color steel You can help me? thanks

If you are still looking for a solution to this you may want to check the control board whether it is damaged or burnt.
You can access the control board by opening the back panel, the control board is located on the right hand side back wall of the unit when you look at the unit from the back.
If the control board is burnt it will have to be replaced and if it is not you will have to try and reset the unit first. Let me know if you need the reset procedure.

MAH5500BWW model fuse blown

You probably need the motor conversion kit 12002039. This Neptune motor / motor control board has a high failure rate. To determine this you need to remove the front cover and inspect the motor control board near the floor on right side for burnt components or a blown 10 amp fuse. If you have burnt components or a blown fuse then your motor control board has failed and needs to be replaced. See www.neptunewaxmotor.com for Neptune disassembly pictures and other neptune information.
