How do I remove the cover from an Acer Verizon V5700G?

I had the same problem with my DROID ULTRA until I realized that your battery cover has KEVLAR on the back then it is unremovable.But if you really need it to be removed then call Verizon Wireless Company.

you will find j3 near the memory slots between the memory slots toward the back of the machine. you may be able to get to it through the memory cover.

I don't have the diagram but i can give you direction.
1. remove the power cover first (where power button is), it might have 3 screw that hold, if there is 3 screw on the power cover, remove it first.
2. after your removed the power cover, you can see the screw that hold keyboard. remove that screw and you can remove the keyboard.

Verizon needs to apply a firmware update for the Atheros wireless adapter in your notebook. I work for Acer and I end up having to tell people this all day long. If you take this to a wireless router that is not from verizon you will have no problems with your connection. Maybe if enough Fios customers complain they will provide a firmware update for this.

thats unusual, you should try another cover as normally when you remove the panel the memory on an ACER laptop is accessible by just removing the panel.
