Signing up
To use Netflix you must first sign up. This can be done through the various devices you can watch it through, or you can go online and do it from the Netflix website. As this is a monthly service, you will need to enter in your card details.
The process is self-explanatory. You will need to choose a password and email address to gain access to Netflix on any device and then fill out various other fields. Try to pick a difficult password or risk others 'borrowing' your account.
If your finances are good and everything checks out, you should be up and running in no time. If not, you should contact Netflix and get the creases ironed out. Smart TV Got a smart TV? There's a good chance you can watch Netflix without any external device. Most, if not all, smart TVs will have a Netflix app either pre-installed or one that can be downloaded. If the app is pre-installed already, you just have to find it and run it. There should be a button that takes you to a TV's

My tv turns itself on and off when watching normal tv, but this doesnt happen if i watch netflix, can you help or diagnose the problem please

It could be the ariel or TV signal is not good enough. Because a drop of the digital TV signal the TV screen would gone blank, dark screen for a few seconds then picture would usually come back. Netflix would not be affected by the TV signal.

Unable to connect

You are not connected to your wi fi network or to your internet. Get that resolved and you will get Netflix provided you have an account with them.

Is your tv detecting the network in your home? That is the first step.
If not, is the tv too far away to get the signal? Do you need signal extender?

We are paying for netflix. How do we get it on our television? Our television is connected to comcast and we have wifi?

But is your TV a "Smart TV"? That means does the TV connect to the internet. Just because you have Comcast connected to your TV doesn't mean it is getting an internet signal. The black coax to the TV only carries a TV signal.
To get internet service to your TV first you have to determine if it is capable. If it does have a wireless receiver in it, you will have to configure it to attach to your wireless base station. If it doesn't have a wireless adapter you will have to connect a network cable from the base station into the TV and then configure it to work with your network. Once you have that internet signal working on your TV you will be able to use Netflix on your TV.

My netflix keeps saying it has encountered a problem on my smart tv it works on other devices in my home just not the smart tv and it has worked a lot before help me please someone

Maybe the TV has out-smarted itself! Call Netflix and inquire if they have received similar calls from other people about the same type of problem. Maybe the TV is seeing the Netflix signal as something it does not want to display. You may want to read over your instruction manual for areas that might explain about how your TV handles receiving various outside source signals (other that regular TV).

The Netflix screen tells me I am not connected to the internet. What can I do to get reconnected.?

Go to your TV settings.... see if the TV detects the wifi signal.... if not try entering you wifi password to connect.
THE TV NEEDS TO DETECT THE SIGNAL FIRST. If not, try raising your modem to a window sill or a shelf, it may not be getting the signal. If it is getting the signal, call Netflix 800.585.7265....and explain your problem.
Good luck.

Unable to access my Netflix account on TV

Is it still not working? If it was working fine before, it's probably a short-term outage. If Netflix is the ONLY service that is not working, then connect to the Netflix website first, then your online Netflix account second. If those both work, contact "help" from your Netflix account.
