Why would a Samsung gas dryer, model DV400GWHDWR-AA cutout and show a FE code after about three seconds after pressing the start button?

It is SAB not SA6. You are in Jewish Sabbath Mode.

Ok, on the left hand side of your refrigerator display board there are two selector buttons. Press on both at the same time for 3 seconds. This will take you out of the OF mode.

F09 error is no heating, you can fix that by opening up the back and pressing the red cutout button which will restore hot air.

According to the Samsung website, here is the description of your problem:

• The FE code indicates a problem with the power source. Loose or incorrect wiring probably exists where the dryer connects to the power cord, or the power cord is the wrong type. If the dryer is hard-wired, it is possibly improperly wired. These kinds of repairs are dangerous for a novice, so contact an electrician or repair center.

FE CODE ERROR ITS ON BUT NOT STARTING

this is a line voltage error code press the cancel button for three seconds check you power and make sure the power supplied is correct.

To enter the diagnostic mode, choose any selector button other than Pause/Cancel and do this little keyboard dance:
Press and hold for three seconds,
release for three seconds;
press and hold for three seconds,
release for three seconds;
press and hold for three seconds.


You’ll know you’ve entered diagnostic mode because all the indicators on the console will light up for five seconds and you’ll see the code “88” in the Estimated Time Remaining display.


the F22 Code you are getting is the exhaust block or overheat!!! DO NOT USE YOUR DRYER UNTIL YOU CLEAN THE EXHAUST OUT! this is a MAJOR fire hazard


it may also be as simple as a lose wire or something like a bad sensor but chances are that your dryer is doing what its supposed to so that you dont have a fire :)
