How Do You take off the turntable

I bought this turntable a week or so ago, and it worked perfect for a couple of days, now it does not turn, and I think it has something to do with the belt, but I don't know how remove it. HELP

The mat can be removed from the platter. Under this there are often holes through wich you can see the belt and motor. The belt should have some play in it but if it pulls away easily it probably needs replacement. Sometimes there is a C shaped clip holding the platter on. If so remove it and lift the platter. Otherwise the platter just sits on a bushing around the spindle. Lightly lift the platter and if it still doesnt come off you can LIGHTLY tap the spindle while lifting the platter and that should free the platter. If it is in one piece measure it lay it flat and measure it end to end and then double that measurement. The most common is 23.6" however there are 20.7", 25", 28" and 38.8", MCM electronics has them for a few bucks each. Simply place it on the inner ledge on the bottom of the platter and stretch over the motor pully. If the speed seems off check the placement on the bottom ledge and the pully. The belt if places d too high or low can ride up the pully to the top where its wider and make the table fast.

I have a 1999 yamaha kodiak 400 4x4. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and everything worked fine....I've been riding it about every day and a couple of days ago, I hopped on it and the speedometer and...

Have a look up under the dash and see if the cable drive has fallen away. If not undo the cable and try pulling out the inner. If it comes away short then its busted. See a parts house for a replacement.

AL-A1 turntable won t turn

take the platter & belt back off, then check to see if the motor spins, if it does the belts the wrong size or put on wrong, if it doesn't spin then you better get your butter & jam out, to put on your toast.

I bought the amp a few weeks ago and it worked perfectly for a couple of days and then for some reason the controlls just froze. the tap tempo light went out and the channel control light stayed the same...

Exercise your warranty IMMEDIATELY since you just bought it! If you bought this used, you LIKELY bought someone else's problem. The problem is likely in the digital effects area... probably a bad cable contact... but if under warranty DO NOT mess with it... return it for replacement or repair.

My turntable is running slow!..and i just bought this turntable brand new a couple weeks ago...please help me.

Check the +10 / -10 slider too make sure it's not set to -10; adjust it towards +10 to the pitch / tone desired. Check the belt to make sure it is not loose. A loose belt will slip and turn the record slower than the recommended 33 or 45 RPM. Have a look at the YouTube video for correct set up if you're still having problems.

Pitch fluctuation

It is caused by the turntable not turning steadily. More than likely it is mechanical probably caused by defective belt drive. If the change in pitch is in regular interval then more than likely it is mechanical. It can be caused electrically when current or voltage fluctuates casuing the turntable to go faster or slower. Fixing this problem requires opening the unit. Check the belt it may be loose or stretched or may a debris is stucked on it.
