I have a Jacuzzi Rainbow Faucet with the square handles & need to replace the faucet cover and handles but the chrome is no longer available. Is there another option without removing the everything?
Is there another option for replacing the handles without removing the cartridges? Is there any other handles in chrome that could be installed? We would like to make this swap without having third a plumber and spend $1000. We had to replace a cartridge before I found out I could do it myself and that alone was $300. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the setscrew that holds it on has either worked lose and is missing or is striped and no longer tightens properly. Replace set screw if missing and or replace set screw if the set screw is striped. If the threads are stripped in the faucet body the faucet itself will need to be replaced. This usually does not fall under Moen's warranty guidlines.
With the detailed part number you have, I would just walk into stores like Home Depot or any plumbing store and they will give you the exact parts you need. They are not expensive and a lot of them are standard parts and come in kits. Good luck.
There is a allen set screw on the handle it may have a cap over it locate it and unloosen screw and remove handle then un screw bonnet nut then replacement kits available at most hardware, home improvement,or plumbing stores take note of how the parts are removed so to reinstall the way they came out.
If a faucet is leaking the necessary repair will be either: 1. For a ceramic or washerless faucet, replace the cartridge. 2. For a typical old fashioned faucet, open the faucet, replace the washer (and packing if it has any) and verify that the faucet seat has not eroded. The newer washerless faucets cannot be repaired except by replacing the cartridge. Cartridges for most common faucets are available at most home improvement stores or plumbing supply houses. It sounds a lot more difficult than it really is, just shut off the water (usually a shut off valve under the sink). After the water is off, remove the handle and any chrome protective covering. Depending on the faucet type, it may be a little difficult to remove the cartridge since they are often covered with mineral build-up or corroded into place. Once you remove the old cartridge the new one usually goes into place easily. NOTE!!! For single handle faucets, make sure you put it in the right way, some of them will put the hot to the wrong side if you put them together backward.
On the top of each handle you will need a very small flat head screwdriver or something similar to "pop" the top cap off. Under that cap there is a phillips head screw so you can remove the handle.
Yes, It can be fixed but it isn't a washer. There is a replacement stem for the faucet . They are readily available at most big box stores and possibly the local hardware store. Bring your faucet model number with you.
