My chainsaw has leaked bar-chain oil ever since I bought it. Especially when it sits in the case. I am always having to clean up large puddles of oil in the case. is there a fix for this?
It's a seal somewhere either on the reservoir, or the 'feed' to the bar.
But in the short term, if you must use it, the simplest way of stopping the leak, is to not store it with any oil in it, until you locate the source of the leak.
That should help, but I'll wish you good luck never the less ;)
& plz don't forget to rate, thankyou :)
No fix it has a gravity feed oiler when your not using it for longer than 6 hrs dump the tank out before you put it up
Most saws have a tendacy to leak after they are used. After use, just "burb" the oil fill cap to relieve any pressure. The closed oil system will siphon out all of the oil.
