Simply run a composite video (RCA) cable to the TV.

is the unit on mute? hit the mute button on your remote

Get the manual, make sure your speakers are hooked up right, go through the setup and get back.

did you happen to change to cable connecting the Reciever to the TV to an HDMI?

please note that the OSD will not appear if you have connected using the HDMI output to your TV.
Use component, S-video or composite connections for system setup.

I had the same problem on my 7200 until I realized that the display comes up on the television screen. I carefully followed the set up required from the manual. I got the Manual online at Marantz.com. I have a cable hook up so I connected the video cable out from the box to the Video in source on the 7200 and monitor out to my Television. I then pressed the Amp button to get the remote to Amp mode. I then pressed the OK button that is in the center of the four direction buttons and the menu displayed itself on the screen . Try plugging a video rca cable into the "monitor" on the back of the mixer (second down or something like that) and then to your tv. This pumps the osd signal to the tv where you can manipulate the menu options.

Think this analogy:
remote = keyboard
receiver = computer
tv = monitor

You need a connection ultimately to the tv for the osd to work.

Press AMP then OK on your remote. If the menue does not appear press 9 on the remote. You must have your monitor connected through composit Monitor Out or S-VHS.
Also check your multiroom settings. Maybe your OSD signal is diverted through to other room. I do not have SR-7200 any more, unfortunately.

I scratched my head over this for an hour. The manual says you can access the OSD from the unit, but I see no way to do this. From the remote, you have to select the "AMP" setting at the top of the input list. Then hit the OSD button. Assuming your monitor is set up correctly, this will bring up the On Screen Display. Then hit the "Menu" button also on the remote, and you can make your adjustments. Good luck!
