Use the timer. Unlike the Actifry and Actifry Plus models, the timer on the Actifry Family controls the fryer, and turns it off at the end of the cooking time.
Return the unit to Tefal for a repair under warranty, or claim under a separate product warranty.
If you have no warranty then your only fix is to replace it with another ActiFry. But as they're notoriously unreliable you might choose not to.
There is almost nothing user-fixable on the ActiFry and it has not been designed to be repaired. They have about a 3 year maximum lifespan assuming an "average" domestic usage cycle, and far less if used every day.
