Bizhub c300. Loud clicking sounds like coming from computer. Replaced transfer belt, fusing unit, clicking is pre-paper movement if that makes sense. It's not constant, but inevitable when a job is sent there. Could a failing hard-drive be so loud as to hear throughout the office? Any ideas?
Could be the waste toner from the transfer unit is blocked up with hard toner, so vac out the cleaning unit and aperture to the waste toner bottle.
Could be the HDD. could also be a gear issue have tech come out

Hope this helps. Make sure you remove the waste tank prior to taking out the transfer belt. Belt is removed by two screws inside right door and sliding the unit out.

There is no setting you can extend the life, however, in the service mode ( utility->meter count-> stop, 0, 0, stop, 0, 1) then press stop, 0, c. There should be a setting in there that you can disable the "image unit life end stop" setting. You will get a message every 5 minutes telling you to change the unit, but your machine won't stop working. Otherwise you can just change the chip in the image unit.
