If you have a URC-7800 the codes 0477, 0008, 0017 should work for the scientific atlanta cable box.

i have a sharp 42" lcd tv and i need the remote code for the time warner scientific atlanta new york city cable box on the sharp remote

Try this first:

1. Press and hold SELECT and CBL until all mode keys blink twice.
2. Press 9 7 7. All mode keys blink three times. Then, after a few seconds the CBL key
blinks twice.

This put's the remote back to default. If you need more help let me know.
