Im trying to hook up my radio to a 93 ford mustang and ive got power and i got the speakers hooked up right but i dont have any sound

Is the radio powering up?
Have you tested the continuity to the speakers (disconnect speakers and use multimeter on low ohms across speaker wires, you might also hear a crackle if speakers are ok)?
If you dont have a meter use a small preferrably used battery (take one out of the tv remote) and dab across the speaker wires briefly, you should hear a click from the speaker.Make sure the speaker is disconnected from the radio when you do this!
Have you connected the ground?
Did the the radio ever work?
Have you connected the antenna?
have you tried any old small speaker hooked up to the radio output?
Ahhh questions questions....

Speakers picking up tv or radio station when volumn is down

Well, sometimes these components can act like antennas. Do you live near a radio or tv station antenna? Or near a highway, or where truckers are near...might be CB'ers. Also, sometimes, in older houses with 2-prong only AC wall sockets. Also, yo don't want your speakers too close to your own TV, or cell phone, or computer itself, as this can cause interference to get into your speakers. Just some ideas.

I PLUG MY SPEAKER WIRES INTO THE BACK PART OF THE TV, BUT FORGOT TO UNPLUG MY WIRE FROM THE RADIO AN TURN THE RADIO UP AN THE TV WENT OUT. NOW THE TV HAS NO SOUND AND IT KICKS ON AND OFF. TV REPAIR MAN...

Very bad!! By connecting the radio and the TV to the same speakers at the same time, the TV lost and you have blown up the audio amplifiers in the TV. this type of failure can involve a short circuit in the amplifier which could cause the TV to turn itself off as a protection measure.
Didn't the repair person tell you all this?

When plugged into my tv they are not very loud, why please

Probably because your TV does not have a built in speaker amplifier. You'll need to hook up a small amplifier to your speakers. Hook up audio cables to the TV AUDIO OUTPUT and then to the INPUT of the amplifier. Hook the speakers up to the AUDIO OUT or SPEAKERS OUT on the amplifier. Probaly have to take a trip to a place like Radio Shack to get the correct cables.... Good Luck.

Connecting Dell speaker system to TV or console

Hello,

If you have a coaxial out on your TV and a coaxial in on your Speaker system that is the way to go to experience digital surround sound. Radio Shack, etc. has coaxial cables in the appropriate size. If you go to Radio Shack, etc. bring along your speaker system's model number as well as your TV's model number.

Hope this gets you going.
