SOURCE: lenovo thinkcentre a51 reboots with several beeps

Your problem is hardware-related. Either memory or power supply.

Remove the memory and add back one at-a-time and boot to see which one (if any / either) is bad.

If not, the second culprit is the power supply, which would need to be replaced.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Which Mobo Does My M92p have? They have 2 they use for that model.

The PSU is not the issue. A motherboard will only draw as much power as it needs. If you want to upgrade the PSU then go for it. It will not harm your motherboard, but it may harm your warranty.

You left out the model number, but go to the page above, click Desktops, click ThinkCentre M Series, click ThinkCentre M57, click 6072, then figure out your model number and select that, finally select the operating system for which you need drivers.

Installing memory

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883265062

As I recall the HD swings out of the way.........

Lenovo Support > ThinkCentre M82 3306 series of Desktop PC's > Main Support page,

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/landing.page?

In the Middle under the - Reference Documents - heading,
click on - Hardware Maintenance Manual

The HMM will tell us..........

On this page click on - ThinkCentre in the small red banner.
On this page scroll down to the - ThinkCentre M Series - subheading.

Scroll way down towards the bottom of the page, to the blue subheading - ThinkCentre M82 (type 2697, 2698, 2742, etc)

Click on that blue subheading.
Now on the last page click on the blue -
Hardware Maintenance Manual (HMM) (Sept 2012) - ThinkCentre M82, M92, M92p

[Ignore if you are aware;
This is a PDF file. The computer you are using now has Adobe Reader on it, which uses PDF files.

After you click on the blue file name, or on Download; it may take up to 30 seconds before the first page comes up.
A PDF file will not show until fully downloaded ]

Go to Page 163, for the Adobe Reader page number.
Actual manual page number is 157
(Chapter 10)

You are supposed to;
1) FOLLOW Anti-Static Procedures
That is from ME
Do NOT know what they are -> STOP!
Do NOT reach inside your computer!
Post back in a Comment.

2) Remove the Front Bezel
3) Remove the Heat Sink Fan Duct
4) Remove the Harddrive
5) Pivot the Optical Drive upwards to access the Ram Memory
6) Bury unmarked $1 bills in a mason jar in the backyard, so I can come get it later. (If you see a black leopard in the backyard, it's OK)

NO..............you gonna' believe that last one?
Sheesh!.................
