Go Go Ultra X Scooter is randomly beeping while in use. The scooter seems to be working fine, so I don't think beep codes would apply. It just beeps 1-4 times at random while we are using it.

Battery was recently replaced. Everything seems to work, but this beeping issue has us concerned that something is about to break.

Pride Mobility Products Sounds like the motor is getting too hot. Several reasons for that. The brushes in the motor can be worn, too much weight on the scooter, rider + whats in the basket or is being carried by the scooter. Rough terrain, grade too much. Never ignore the beeps. They tell you the health of the scooters systems.

My gogo ultra is showing fully charged and horn beeps, when i put key in it beeps fast 10 times and 5 beeps after

5 beeps usually means scooter is out of gear, but since the lever is in the drive position and the scooter gearbox/differential is engaged, it seems that the controller is not sensing the gear change. Possibly a faulty micro switch in the motor housing can be the cause of this, usually the micro switch is pressed down by the drive lever and if the switch is pressed down the motor controller knows the scooter is in gear.

When I want to get scooter to go, it just beeps.

2 beeps=too low battery voltage
3 beeps=battery voltage too high
5 beeps=solenoid brake trip or free wheel mode
remove key then push then push the manual release lever in completely
6 beeps=throttle trip
throttle control lever may have been depressed while
inserting key so release control lever completely
7 beeps=throttle trip
throttle potentiometer fault or speed potentiometer fault

I get 9 beeps and it will not start when I turn on my go go elite scooter.

9-beep. Major controller error. Check all wiring, remove battteries for 10 seconds and try again. If still 9-beeps you need a new controller - which is pricy and rearely worth replacing.

Scooter beeps and won't go. Gear doesn't click into "engaged" mode sometimes. It seems to slip between "engaged" and "freewheel".

sounds to me like the starter solenoid that's what I would replce first , then look towards new battery's if that fails .

Scooter does not move either direction. when i insert the key i get 10 fast beeps and the 9 slower beeps

This scooter has an S drive controller. The beep code will begin with 10 very fast beeps followed by a number of slower beeps. The number of slower beeps indicates the actual code. It will do this only once. To repeat the beep code, remove and reinsert the key.
Beep code #9 is a possible controller trip.
Diagnosis:
The key may have been inserted during battery box installation.
The controller may be overheated.
The brake is dragging or pulling too much current.
Solution:
Remove the key from the key switch before installing the battery box.
If the problem persists shut down the scooter for 10-15 minutes and allow the controller to cool down.
Bottom line is that you may need a new controller or brake. Keep in mind these may be warranty items. A qualified technician may be needed to diagnose and repair the problem. Hope this helps.

I have just purchased a new Little Gem2 mobility scooter which appears to work fine until I sit on the seat ,then there is a series of beeps followed by 5 single beeps. Can you please help

Make sure that the scooter is not in freewheel (the freewheel lever at the rear of the chair needs to be in drive position) If you can push the scooter easily then its in freewheel mode If you have the owners manual check to see if they have the beeps codes listed and look for the code you aare getting if you don't have the manual try the manufacturers website to download one Hope this helps

Beeps when in drive won't move

How many times does it beep or is it continuous? Should beep a few times (usually up to 9 times), then stop, then beep so many times again, then stop and so an and so forth. Most of the time this is caused by the scooter being in freewheel or THINKING its in freewheel which could be a faulty brake switch. Also, on the GoGo ultra, the battery contacts regularly cause this problem and have to be replaced. They should be splotlessly clean and shiny for the contact to be good.
