SOURCE: Check engine light came on

When a 'check engine light' (MIL=Malfunction Indicator Lamp) is turned on, there is a DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) set/stored in the ECM/PCM (Engine Control Module/Powertrain Control Module). This code identifies which engine management system component/function experienced a malfunction. Once you pull/read this code, you can begin diagnosis.

hi,
I've the same probem, it's been 'fixed' twice in the cars life but re-occurs.
I believe the throttle body gets 'gunked-up' possibly due to a faulty solenoid or sensor.
I don't have a full solution but will post when I do.

I have and 05 Tucson went to start it this morning and the lights come on, bells and radio work. I turn the key and it jsut clicks over and over

sounds like you have a bad battery it takes alot more battery power to start the car than it does to run those other things
