hmmm sounds like the computer is facing a problem with the operating system or the hard drive is starting to fail on you

Try changing the input device to something you are sure, works such as a DVD player.

Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours.

If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.

Sometiems you can fix this with a reflow, but its hit & miss (50/50) with this error, as the actual port may be faulty, but reflowing wont hurt to try, or you can sell it for spare parts on ebay and get another base unit.

I actually used the same method to fix over 450 Xbox360 units with no problems at all, barring a few (but i have done nearly 500 so you expect a few problems along the way), you just need a few things though like a heat gun and some thermal paste. sounds hard, but it's very easy once you start!

This is a problem with the spindle motor,you can locate where the spindle goes into the motor and spray with wd40 leave for a few mins.

Try removing and resetting your memory modules.
Blow some air in the slots to remove any dirt trapped in there.
They are locate don the back of your laptop.
The instructions are in the manual under how to change or upgrade memory modules.
