You need to adjust the wheels up with the adjustment screws on the bottom end of the door. The door will lift slightly enough to let the wheels and door clear the track. So up and in. Then when replacing, lift up and set down on the track on the rollers and adjust up turning screw so that the door rolls easily without rubbing. Some doors adjustment screw is on the bottom door end, some are on the side of the bottom of the door a few inches back, depending on model.

I am trying to replace the passengers window. I have the window in but cannot find out how the gold metal clips hold the glass onto the track

There should be two bottoms on the buttons of the new window. The clips should be installed into there proper positions on the window retainers mounted to the two vertical window tracks. The buttons on the bottom of the window will line up with the holes in the window retainers. Once there lined up push the buttons all the way through until the clips snap around them.

Need to remove the arms of the electric window motor from the window tray. do they roll our of the tray or do the arms pop out of the rollers ?

The arms have metal balls that pop into a plastic sliders that are at eh bottom of the glass on two places. They have clips on the the side. you need to get them off first. Needle nose pliers work good for me. Then you can pop the arms out of the plastic sliders. Its not easy takes a nice amount of pressure to pop them out.

To get them in, I use pliers to pop them in then install the metal clips form the side.

Be extra careful. I did crack a window once.

Good luck

How do I replace the back window?

Remove the black vinyl trim from the edge of the glass. Remove broken glass & urethane adhesive from the metal pinchweld leaving a thin layer (approx 1/16") of urethane for new new urethane to adhere to. Vacuum broken glass. Prime nicks to the metal to protect from rusting (also insuring a good surface to bond to). Attach vinyl reveal molding to glass (unless it's a "T" shaped push in type - it would install after the glass is set). Clean and prime the replacement glass. Apply new urethane adhesive. Set glass in place.Slide the metal joint cover in place on the molding (at bottom in the center). Clean outer surface of glass. Allow for safe drive away as noted by urethane manufacturer.

I own a 1994 honda accord and the window pane jams and goes off alignment when I winding it up,atimes it will stop working and cant wind up. How do I fix it?

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you need to pull off the weather seal to get to the inside of the door. It sounds like the guide rails for the window have come loose

Window goes to far down and doesnt stop

Sounds like either the stoppers fell out, or you will need to readjust the track. You will have to remove door panel and visually inspect track and slider. Should be stops at bottom of slide rails

Window off track

Looking at the opened door from the inside remove the philips screw near the upper hinge. Pry the speaker grill off with a thin blade putty knife, starting at the bottom left and work to the right. Remove speaker screws and the three screws in the recessed plastic spaces behind. Remove the square covers behind the handle and in the arm rest. Remove the 2 philips screws exposed. Start to pry from the top hinge side between the plastic door panel and the metal door. Work your way around the door until plastic clips release. Once the bottom of the panel and sides are free, lift the panel up and off the door being careful not to pull wiring and door handle mechanism loose. Unplug the as much of the wiring as you can and support the panel so as to not stretch the wiring. Pop the plastic retaining clip on the door handle connecting rod and lift the rod out of the handle. Slowly peel back the vinyl/rubber door cover stuck to the metal door. The window is held in the lower track with two clips that are bolted to the track. Unbolt by raising or lowering the window and using a 10MM socket on the nuts to loosen. Remove the window seal along trhe bottom of the window opening by prying straight up. You can then remove the window and re-epoxy in the lower clips and reassemble window in reverse order.

Passenger side window

disconnect the battery. remove the door lock knob. remove the bezel around the interior door latch by sliding the bezel towards the front of the car. carefully pry off the air bag logo. There is a torx screw under it - remove said screw. Carefully pry off the two screw covers under the door pull - there are two torx screws under these two covers - remove the screws. With a flexible flat spackling tool, caerfuly run the tool around the door cover, releasing the clips that hold the cover to the door. lift the door cover away from the door, and disconnect the front speakers. disconnect and remove the airbag. Carefully remove the foam liner, exposing the window mechanism.  Carefully pry up and remove the drip rail from the interior side of the window. re-install the air bag (else you'll set an error code) and reconnect the battery. Run the window up or down as needed to expose the connection between the window and the lifter mechanism. disconnect the clips on the two sliders that run in the channel on the metal clip attached to the bottom of the window and carefully press that slider towards the door - which will unclip the slider from the lifter mechanism. Now the window should pull up and out of the car.
replacing the window is the reverse of all this, making sure the window is aligned in the tracks inside the door so that it goes up and down smoothly.
All I need now is to figure out how to adhere that track to the bottom of the window - that's what broke on my car - something that will adhere to the glass and metal!
