When I moved I disconnected it while it was on an INPUT other than regular cable. I lost the remote in the move. I purchased a RCA universal remote but cannot get the INPUT back to cable TV. I can get the TV to turn on and off but not change INPUTs. Can you help?

Another expert site answered my question. Since there was no INPUT button on the TV, I need to buy an original remote.

I lost my remote, and have my tv hooked up to cable. Now I want to change the channel to 4 manually. I have disconnected the cable wire and the only two Channels it will show is 77 and 95

Your TV has detected that you disconnected the cable and has switched modes to antenna input. Despite the likelihood that you do not have a UHF antenna, your TV will pick up usually 1 to 5 stations in the UHF band. It would pay to pick up a cheap universal remote from the Dollar Store if there is one in your area and they still have the remotes available for a dollar.

I accidentaly disconnected my Samsung 60" tv picture when I tried to move the tv to watch it from a different angle in the room. Everything else is still working but no picture?

You might want to check what got disconnected. If it was an HDMI cable to your cable box, Either the cable or input port on the TV could have been damaged. Try a new cable and possibly a different HDMI input port. Also try watching a DVD through the same port to see if the input is OK. If the above doesn't work, check that you can at least bring up the setup menu on the TV. No menu could indicate a damage display panel or driver...

Samsung lw20 lcd tv white image

Hi same here
The cables want to be in their correct place. After you have made sure that the cables and plugs are in their place. Check the input on the remote control. If your connection through the antenna and the the remote does ot show that, move to the antenna input.
The same method goes for the HDMI or ADSL Broadband or what.
Move to the correct input. OH and another matter, check that the scart plugs are iwhere they should be.
Good luck

NO SOUND ON TV. CABLE REMOTE AND TV REMOTES HAVE THE MUTE OFF. TRIED WATCHING DVD, WORKS FINE WITH SOUND, THEN BACK TO CABLE, NO-SOUND. PLEASE HELP! TV IS SAMSUNG

You have just performed the best way to troubleshoot this kind of problem. Check all cables on the back of the tv and your sources and look for any loose or disconnected cables. Next, Hook your DVD palyer to the SAME input that you are using for the cable box. Now if you have good pix and sound then you have a bad cable box. If not then you have a bad Main bd in the tv.

Panasonic SC PT660 Theater w Samsung Plasma -No sound w/Aux Input

My best advice is to do a factory reset on the system and then set it up again like you did when you first installed it. Unless your daughter physically damaged cables, the system should work OK. It's no use trying to work out what she disconnected as that will take even longer than a factory reset.

TV

If you are using cable and the signal is connected to the TV through the regular cable wire, then the TV must be in TV mode to work properly. If you are using a cable box with that TV then the TV must be on channel 3. If the screen shows AV 1, then the TV is in the AV mode (red, white and yellow RCA jacks), and you most likely accidently hit the INPUT button on the remote. Pressing 0 3 or INPUT a couple of times on the remote should bring your picture back.
