When you look at the check engine light after you turn the ignition switch to on without the engine running what are the check engine light blink codes? It will blink a series of on off. I need more infor mation about cruise and CE won't communicate?? How does the engine run sound? Do you have volt meter and or electrical schematic? Let me know. Good luck.

Are all of the lights flashing or is it flashing a code like Sy EF or Sy CE? If so the ef would indicate the evaporator fan circuit has a problem, and if it is SY CE it would indicate a communication error.

Is it working now or still the lights are blinking?

I've got the same situation. I think it is old enought to break. I just can't turn on the light behind the screen.

If your system was working fine, and it all of a sudden started doing this, it sounds like your base has taken a surge of some kind. Your base needs replacing. You can try re-registering the handsets, but from my experience the problem is fatal. Now if this is a new installation and the handsets never work yet on the base, you just need to register them. Hi, Based on your post/description, the Siemens AP/Router is at fault. This could have been brought about by lightning, power surge, plain hardware failure or system/software error. The red status light - on indicates an error (on the firmware)(blinking during start-up or when firmware is being downloaded/updated); WAN light blinking green - data transmission to/from your ISP (it is also possible that the router is trying to download corrective software or firmware update). Suggest you let it run for sometime just in case it is really downloading/upgrading firmware. If full reset of the router doesn't correct the problem, you may have to replace the unit.
