Have a new world 2000/3000 cooker. The timer is locked and cannot turn the oven on. Is there any way to clear the timer?
The timer has never been used. We had a power cut and when the power went back on, it was locked into the timer mode and we can't find a way to clear it. Any help would be appreciated.

Try turning the breaker off that it is connected to for a while and turn it back on to see if that clears the issue. When power outages happen, sometimes the power surges and sags and this can cause issues with the controller boards in appliances.

It sounds like the oven timer is set and it is waiting for you to set the start time. I tried to find a manual, I found one, but not sure if it is right. I am in Canada and this is a UK brand, so this link might work better for you.
Pull off bottom knob of oven shine torch down at 45degrees u will see a red plate turn off power suply and use a small screwdriver to push the plate turn power back on job done.PS Check all vents are clear to stop it over heating good luck.
