How can I access my hotmail on my iPad - Apple Ipad I-pad

go to www.hotmail.com and sign up there then go on your ipad and put your Hotmail account on the ipad.

You can access email on the iPad in 2 ways.
1) go to Settings / Mail etc....
and add an account and use the ISP's settings and your email details to be able to attach to your email account via POP or IMAP.

2) you can use Safari to navigate to your online mail account eg Hotmail by searching for Hotmail and entering your account and password details.

Point the web browser at http://www.hotmail.com

If another account comes up, sign out of it by clicking the avatar in the upper-right then clicking "Sign out."

If you then still can't sign in to your account, click the "Can't access your account?" link on the sign-in page.

If you are using iOS 7 and want to connect your hotmail account so that it is the account you see when you use the iPad's "Mail" app, do this:

1. Open the "Settings" app
2. Tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" (on the left)
3. Tap "Add Account" (on the right)
4. Tap "Outlook.com"
5. Fill in the blanks (your hotmail email address & password)
6. Pick which hotmail stuff you want to sync with your iPad
7. Tap Save.

(If you see "Unable to verify account information", double-check your email address & password).

It depends on how your hotmail was setup on your iPad. If it was setup as POP3 connection, then you can still retrieve your email using a broswer to log into Hotmail.

If it was setup as IMAP then whatever you delete from your iPad will be delete on Hotmails server as well. Double check your Trash folder to see if its still in there. If that has been deleted, then there is no way to get your mail back.

Yes, you can use the Mail app on the iPad and set it up or you can use Safari to browse the web and search for Hotmail. You can then log in as usual to reach your mail.
