Defective temperature sensor is my guess, try running white vinegar through it a few times, the sensor may have hard water deposits on it which can alter the readings.

SOURCE: bunn commercial coffee maker plug overheats, no hot water

Most likely this is your heating element, but it could also be your main thermostat

SOURCE: Steamer is not getting hot enough.

Try using the milk clamp on the tube going into the milk.Tightening it will make your milk hotter.
Your steam wand however, is a different problem.
First, check in the programming that the steam temp. is 125 celcius.
If it is, and none of the tubes from the steam wand to the boiler valve are blocked, your boiler temp. sensor may be faulty, in which case, you will need to replace that.

SOURCE: Our Bunn VPR coffeemaker takes a LONG time to heat

We left vinegar in the coffeemaker overnight. Seems to have done the trick - water is heating up now after 20 or so minutes instead of several hours.

SOURCE: water not hot on Bunn coffee maker

Check the Hi-limit thermostat on top of the tank, then the pressure stat setting and then the inline fuse and then elements.

My Bunn NHBX-B model, water comes out of tank luke warm after being on all night. I suspect the thermostat is bad (P/N 29329-1000) Can I access that part to replace it? And is that the correct part #? ...

IF YOU are good at repair,

Before ordering any parts, (And by the way the part you listed is the hi-limit thermostat) get a volt meter and check the heating element, thermostat and loose/burned wires or wire connectors.

Note: Thermostat is more money, more like $26 - $47.

Good luck.

My bunn makes great coffee, but after 10 min in the cup it is luke warm. Could the initial temperture be set too low?

If by meaning the coffee pot, the bottom warmer maybe loose and dropped inside the machine.Normal brew temp is 195 degrees out of tank. There also may be problem with the hi-limit ,t-stat or element.

When i make coffee sometimes the water that comes out is cold or luke warm

The brewer has not had enough time to reach its operating temp (usually 7 mins after a brew cycle). If that is not hte case then the machine needs to be descaled.

Adjusting the temperature

Our Bunn VPR was delivering luke warm coffee. The problem was lime scale buildup on the heating element. I recommend using a cleaner such as Brew Rite or a vinegar solution. If it still does not heat properly, unplug and remove the heating element for cleaning. This corrected our problem.

Hook it up to cold water. It has a heating element in the tank that heats the water.
