WIth all handsets in standby mode, press the Down/Caller List button on the navigator key circle on one handset. Press the down or up arrows to navigate to the number that you want to add to the phone book. Press the right soft key (the LCD screen above the button should be displaying a rectangle with 6 squares). Use the Up/Down arrows to highlight Save CID. Press OK. Use the Up/Down arrows to select Phonebook and press OK. Enter the name of the caller (up to 16 characters). Press the appropriate number key multiple times to display the desired character. Use the * key to switch from upper or lower case. Press the left or right arrows to go to add the next character in the name. If you need to use one of the different character tables, press R/Eco (below the # symbol). Press OK when finished. Press the Call End/Off button to exit the menu.

The manual is available on the product page: https://www.panasonic.com/africa/consumer/telephones-home-security/telephone/cordless/kx-tg6812.html . Scroll down to the bottom of the page or click on the Support link. The direct link to the manual is currently http://www.panasonic.ae/EN/Manuals/KX-TG6812.pdf . You need the information from page 35 to store the number and page 21 to add the caller name to the entry. See page 45 for the extended character tables and the character/number tables.

I hope this helps.

Panasonic user manual free download KX TGA740

The manual for the KX-TGA740 add-on cordless handset is available from the product page: http://shop.panasonic.com/support-only/KX-TGA740B.html?supportpage=true . The direct link to the manual is ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/accessory/phone_fax/om/kx-tga740_en_om.pdf . You may find more useful information on using the handset in the manual for the base phone with which you'll pair the handset. The KX-TGA740 is compatible with the KX-TG6411, KX-TG6421, KX-TG6431, KX-TG6441 and
KX-TG7431 phone systems. To find the manual for any of these models, see http://shop.panasonic.com/support . Enter the appropriate model number in the search bar and press enter. Scroll down the page to the support section if the page doesn't come up in the correct section.

I hope this helps.

Can you speed dial on the Panasonic KX-TG4011?

This model doesn't have a speed-dial or one-touch dialing feature. It does have a phonebook feature that allows you to store up to 50 phone numbers, and you can select an entry and the phone will dial automatically. Not quite the same, but it's all that's offered. The manual gives the steps for entering names and numbers into the phonebook, and for selecting and dialing an entry.

How do I save telephone numbers to a uniden powermax 5.8 ghz cordless telephone

Phonebook (Storing Phone Numbers, Names, Distinctive
Rings and Speed Dial)
You can store names and numbers in your phone’s phonebook, search for names
alphabetically, and dial phonebook entries with just a few key presses. You can
store up to 100 numbers in the base and up to 100 additional numbers in each
registered handset.
The phone uses the same memory to store phonebook entries and Caller ID
messages. If the shared memory is already full, the phone will not store any more
phonebook entries. You will have to delete some of the Caller ID messages before
you can store a new phonebook entry.
1) When the phone is in standby mode, press phonebook.
2) Press the STORE soft key, S t o r e / E d i t N a m e appears.
3) Enter the name (up to 16 characters) by using the
number keypad (see the "Steps for Entering Names and
Special Characters" on page 44).
If a name is not required, go to step 4. <No Name> will
be used as the name.
4) Press the OK soft key to store the name;
S t o r e / E d i t N o . appears.
5) Use the number keypad, */tone/<, or #/> to enter the
phone number (up to 20 digits).
If you make an error, use the DELETE soft key to erase
the incorrect digits. When you are finished, press the
OK soft key to store the number.

6) If you store the phonebook entry from the handset,
D i s t i n c t i v e R i n g appears. Press volume up/down to
move the pointer to one of the Distinctive Ring options
and then press the OK soft key.
7) S p e e d D i a l appears. Press volume up/down to move the
pointer to select the Speed Dial location (10 locations:
SPD1-SPD0).
8) Press the OK soft key. You will hear a confirmation tone, and D o n e ! appears in the
display. EASY DOES IT! :)

sorry, it seems that they have no manual for this model online yet, however, if you go to page 20 of the manual ("http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG1032.pdf") that procedure may help. good luck!

Uniden power max 2.4 ghz

I had the same problem but figured it out. For some dumb reason, Caller ID numbers count against your total phonebook memory. So if you just delete all your Caller ID numbers (press the "Caller ID" button and then the "delete" button) then you'll be able to store new numbers in your phonebook.

If I could get my hands on the Uniden engineer that is responsible for this, I'd smack him! :)
