My nextbook only works when its plugged in but its at 99% battery how do i fix it?

The rechargeable battery for your Nextbook probably needs to be replaced. Eventually all rechargeable batteries need to be replaced.

Make sure you order or purchase in a bricks and mortar store the right battery for your Nextbook.

I don't know what model of Nextbook you own, but these instructions may prove helpful to you:

If you do not feel comfortable in following the steps provided in the link above, find a reputable computer repair business near you, take your Nextbook there, and ask a technician there to open the Nextbook, determine what battery is needed for replacement, order the battery, and install it. Note: You will probably be provided an estimate of the cost of the work and will probably need to pay an initial fee which will be deducted from the final cost of the battery and the technician's work.

I got a better theory when you plugged the nextbook into the wrong charger it shorted out the circuit board an cooked it get a new one and a proper charger ......Good Luck

try to make the battery go flat flat then recharge

if nothing works
would suggest a new battery for it

maybe the problem is your battery or your charger. my suggestion is look for the person who is expert in that field.

Charge the battery sooner.

1) Try to plug the AC power adapter and see if the Nextbook2 turns on - if it does, there is 99% chance that the battery is dead. You can get the replacement battery only from the Nextbook manufacturer/dealer, nobody else sells separate batteries yet, not even on eBay.
2) If the Nexbook2 DOESN'T turn on even with the AC power adapter plugged in - see whether it (1) starts to load the system or (2) merely makes a sound, but nothing appears on the screen, or (3) maybe it doesn't even make a sound. In the (1) case you could reinstall the system, but it's not that easy without a built-in CD-ROM, so I recommend to bring it to the mechanic/dealer/manufacturer. There is no better solution possible.
