Question about LG Televison & Video
There is a short burst of sound like a buzz and a horizontal bar of fuzzy color near the top of the screen green or yellow?. (This has since changed to a brief flash followed by the same black screen) This is followed by a black screen and a lack of sound. These episodes last less than one minute in which the tv does not appear to be power cycling and does not display menu or anything when commanded by remote, though the blue led flashes when pushing buttons. It takes several times of pushing the power button on the tv for it to power down. These episodes are most frequent nearest the time of powering on usually just happens once, and can be problem free for hours. After this the picture and info bar appear at the top of the screen, everything is again normal. I am afraid soon it just won't work at all and so it must be fixed now. I need to know what boards I should replace. Thank you for your time. -update one day later- Now there is no picture or sound at startup, One time I turned it on and It briefly worked then the horizontal lines again, then blackness. What so I do? Replace a bunch of suspect boards, Y sustain, z sustain, Buffers, power supply, logic control?
