My archos3 vision mp3 player does not respond to touch. i switched it on/played it through remote speakers/switched it off and now no response from touch screen.

Screen seems frozen or not responding to touch.i cannot get icons to respond.

try to put the ipod into disk mode, while connected to PC, perform first hard reset by holding select and menu buttons until it restarts, when quickly change to pressing select and play buttons, then it must go into disk mode, will sync with PC and must show in iTunes, perform restore function to reformat the memory

You must attempt to refresh your iPod Touch.

Hold the Sleep Button and the Home Button at the same time for 10 seconds. The screen turns off, wait for 5 seconds. Then hold the power button again until you see the Apple Logo. Wait for couple of seconds. Then your problem should resolved!

Why em808vid touch pad is not response?
I've similar question. My ipod touch 2 screen is very finicky! It sometime responds just fine, but other times requires multiple taps before it does it's duty. Is there a fix for this? I have tried soft resets and recalibrating. The recalibration works fine, but I don't think it should have to be done daily which is about what I'm doing now. Is there another more permanent fix for this problem?

try cleaning the input socket of the Philips Speakers with a cotton bud, try cleaning the socket of the Ipod touch cable as well.

Have you tried using the IPod touch with different speakers? and does it work? if so the problem lies with your Philips speakers.

I had the exact same problem on one of my phones. The problem was that half of the small ribbon cable was cut in half, so part of the touchscreen digitizer worked and the other half didn't. I had to either replace the digitizer or get a new phone.

Earphone and speakers causeing problems
Plugging anything other than the proprietary earbuds into that jack can damage the headphone jack. No one i know of has successfully replaced the headphone jacks alone - call Creative and see if you are still in warranty, because that player will need to be replaced

If you have a sd card in it you need to remove that and then try resetting it and then turning it on. Also you can contact disney at 888-800-0502 and they will give you download info to help reset the original settings. Good luck
